I taught myself to cook when I was 12 years old due to being a daughter of a working single mom. Later my dad who was a chef for many years has taught me new recpices and techniques for cooking. I love cooking especially for my family. It gives me a sence of pride when they rant and rave about my cooking and always want me to make dishes for their pot Lucks. Seafood any any new dishes. Making new things, and re-inventing new recipies Making home made lasanga one night I had cans of sauce in a plastic grocery bag and the bag ripped and the jars broke spilling sauce everywhere! Thanksgigng a couple years back I was helping my mother Brine turkey and for some reason she thought it to be an excellent idea to brine in the plastic trash bag. we took the turkey out and the bag got stuck on the fridge door and ripped. And poured all over the floor like the great flood.
