About this Cook
hi my name is monica, im 15 and im just starting out with cooking, and im having a lot of fun! as u can probably tell from my user name im a huge new kids on the block fan, and so i spend most of my time listening to music, but when im not listening to music, i like to cook, or write poems, and books as far as cooking goes IM EXTREAMLY BEGINNER but im trying hard to get better! well i would write more about my self, but i thnk i already wrote me in a nut shell
My favorite things to cook
italian, right now my fave thing to cook is things that come premade, or all in one box, or something u could get out of a window, that is y im joining this site, to learn to cook!
My favorite family cooking traditions
on thanksgiving is whwn we have our real like meal meal, u'know everyone sitting down to eat a good meal, not just fast food as usual, and since its usually just me and my mom we started making weird traditions, we make spanish rice and tamales on tahnkgiving! i just dont think it would b the same with out it (well i dont think we r that weird, on "general hospital" the coutermaines eat chinese food on thanksgiving, that would b fun)
My cooking triumphs
i learned to make lasanga! hahaha i also learned how to make bread rally good, not to toot my own horn or anything (toot toot!)
My cooking tragedies
oh gosh where to start.... burning water has to b at the top! then burning EVERYTHING else...... also the first time i made bread by myself it did not rise, then a little while ago i tried to make scones.....yea not so good....they did not rise
