Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast
The meat and vegetables were super tender. We were disappointed with the blandness of the meat, though. It would better with some sort of seasoning.

Buttermilk Wheat Bread
We really like this recipe. I don't have a bread machine, so I made it by hand and baked it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 min. Turns out great and tastes great! Good bread for french toast.

Texas Black Bean Soup
My husband and I really enjoyed this soup. It is definitely a repeat recipe for us. I did alter how much chili powder I put in, decreasing the amount to 2 tbsp. It still had plenty of kick to it!
