I'm 21 and a new comer to Newport Beach, I live with my boyfriend. I grew up cooking with my mom, and I once I moved down here I learned to imcorporate her cooking methods into my own recipes. I'd have to say my favorite part of the day is coming how and trying out new recipes! My favorite thing to cook is definitely Italian...the aromas are the best parts. My favorite family traditions would definitely be any over our get togethers. You know that when ever we get together there is going to be delicious food. And always a new recipe to learn. My Aunts, cousins, Mom, and sister always makes for the best cooking! My triumphs are mostly anything Mexican. I am half mexican so that is what I grew up learning how to cook. I think I am may have finally perfected my salsa and guacamole. My tradgedies definitely fall under the pastry baking category =[ I love it but it is so hard for me to get it right. So that is something I plan on trying to perfect or even somewhat accomplish lol
