About this Cook
I love horses and own 7 right now on our 80 acre ranch in Idaho. I am married and have 3 sons and I enjoy cooking easy and simple meals with our busy schedule. We raise our own beef and plan to have chickens, turkeys, lamb next year as well as a garden.
My favorite things to cook
Slow cooker, chili, beef stew, Italian foods, breads, desserts and candy for the holidays.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I cook Thanksgiving for the family and also Christmans Eve dinner. I am teaching my sons to enjoy cooking as well.
My cooking triumphs
I learned to make jam last year for the first time and it turned out really great!

Quick and Easy Brownies
This is an excellent recipe, easy to prepare. I sometimes change the nuts to peanut butter chips or chocolate chips or do both. I am planning on making some for the holidays with white chocolate chips. My 12 year old says these brownies are famous and he tells me I have to make them whenever there is a potluck or community event. I won't buy boxed brownies ever again.

Chocolate Frosting I
I have make this a few times and it is easy and a rich and thick frosting. After I frost my cake I put it in the frig for a few minutes so the frosting sets up.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III
Excellent cake, the only problem is it is so rich you need to make sure you take a small piece or you won't be able to finish it!
