My husband and I celebrated our three year anniversary this past June, and more excitingly our daughter's first birthday this past november. I love being a wife and mother and can't wait to watch our family grow. Outside the home I am hairdresser and absolutely enjoy all aspects of my job. hmmm... I really enjoy cooking period, nothing inparticular thrills me more than the other. I just like to cook and afterwards see people enjoy it. My cooking for sure has stemmed from my mother and grandfather. Growing up we rarely had the same meal twice in a month. My mom would open up the kupboards and just start mixing things together. Never a recipe... just an idea to work from. When I first met my husband I had asked him what he liked to eat and he had told me that he really liked fajitas. So I took it apon myself one night to surprise him with his favorite meal of fajitas and the poor guy suffered through it but ate everything on his plate and more til finally I said to him after choking down just a few bites..." These are kinda gross!!" The look of relief on his face was priceless and he quickly replied " So you won't care if I don't finish this..." I laughed hystaricly... "no!!" Longer story short... I had never made them before and thought the whole bottle of fajita sauce was suppose to go in the vegetables instead of a couple tablespoons. Yeah......they were nasty! Now when I make my own fajitas I make my own sauce!
