I have 3 kids, daughter-31, son-18, son-4. I am very close to my family, my daughter lives next door with her husband and two sons ages 5 and 1. Yes my oldest grandson is older than my youngest son. I work full time and do Grantwriting on the side for cities and towns. I love to cook in my very small kitchen, that I wish it was ALOT bigger!!! I love to collect old handed down recipes, they are the best. I like to cook just about everything... good ole down home cooking, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Grilling, Baking, Slow cooking, I want to learn how to use a smoker, I just love to cook. Getting together with my friends and family and cooking, or grilling. To me that's what life is all about, family, good friends and good food. It doesn't get much better than that. Learning to make homemade enchiladas, mole sauce and tamales. I need a lot of practice on making tortillas. Making tortillas. All I have is my grandmothers recipe which is a handful of this and a pinch of that, you know not any real measurements which is very hard for me when I am just learning a new recipe.
