I am a grandmother and a PC gamer who collects recipes and wishes she could make all the ones she has collected. I have been a nurse for more than 30 years and an PC RPG gamer for 10yrs. I also finally got my Kitchenaid mixer I have been drooling over for a couple of years. My next drool is an Alienware PC!
My favorite things to cook
General Tso's Chicken, my Five Flavor Pound cake and Sour cream potato salad. I may share these anytime now.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve buffet at my house using handed down recipes from my mom and grandmother. New ones get added but there are still the favorites like hot crab dip, bourbon weenies and soft gingersnap cookies.
My cooking triumphs
Finally getting Thanksgiving dinner right! AND getting meatballs right!!! I was raised by 2 fabulous cooks but unfortunately didn't pay close attention until it was too late.
My cooking tragedies
I used to cook meatballs...the kids, they would back away slowly! Meatloaf is not my friend either. My husband and I are still chuckling about the last one.
