My mother taught me to make French-Canadian meat pies for Christmas, also called tourtier.

I guess anything i cook would be a triumph
My cooking tragedies
i used to make lumpy gravy, but not anymore, can't think of anything else that would be a tragedy

French Canadian Tourtiere
I was checking on the Touriere recipe, and it is identical to the one my mom gave me over 40 years ago, the only thing i changed, was to make a beef gravy in the meat mixture, and it is nice and moist.
