My Nephew.
About this Cook
I'm a college student and, since I have been away, I have learned to cherish the moments spent with my loved ones. I am very active; I'm always playing with my niece and nephew, shopping, or playing some type of backyard sports with all of my friends (that I miss so much!). Winter is my favorite season and I love to go sledding and skiing. I also enjoy being on the water in the summer, especially Lake Erie. Cedar Point is my favorite vacation spot (even though it's not much of a vacation).
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook desserts because that is what people seem to enjoy most annd... everyone will eat a dessert, no matter what time of the day! I also love to try new pasta dishes for dinners. I have been trying to switch to a healthier styler of eating by using items such as Splenda and Whole Wheat Pasta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad's family is 100% Polish and we love to have Polish foods! Homemade noodles are my aunt's specialty, and my uncle gets the best Polish sausage. Both of my grandmothers are mean cooks and love to prepare enormous dinners for our families.
My cooking triumphs
Although I stick mainly to the easy recipes with common ingredients, my biggest cooking triumph would have to be when I made 4 big desserts in 8th grade in about 3 hours. I had put off out final project until the last minute and thought I only needed to make one recipe. It turned out that one recipe was worth 50 points, and the final needed to be a total of 200. At 8:00 the night before I whipped up a mean Pineapple Upside Down Cake, delicious Puppy Chow, homemade Brownies, and some easy, but always yummy, Rice Krispy Treats.
My cooking tragedies
The very first time I ever made a Pineapple Upside Down Cake, I somehow misread the recipe and put in 4 sticks of butter. It turned out pretty greasy, but still tasted alright if you could get past the extreme sogginess.

Chicken and Cheese Stuffed Jumbo Shells
Overall, very tasty and semi-easy recipe. Next time I make this I will just use breaded chicken tenders dipped in milk and the seasonings (the chicken and bread crumbs were a pain and breaded meat will result in the same product overall). I will also use a jar of spaghetti sauce; tomato sauce just didn't cut it!
