This is the best apple cake...ever! I took this to a brunch for seniors at our church and everyone loved it...especially the seniors! They all asked for the recipe. No changes, just drizzled it lightly with a glaze. Making it again for one of our desserts for Thanksgiving.

Sylvia's Ribs

I boiled my ribs for about 20 minutes, threw them in the crock pot on low with about half the BBQ sauce for about 5 hours. Then I took them out and put them on a baking sheet, brushed them with the remaining BBQ sauce and baked about 15 minutes then I flipped them and brushed the other side and baked 15 more minutes. These were the PERFECT ribs and it was the BBQ sauce that made them that way! My husband (who rarely compliments a meal) couldn't stop raving about these ribs. He even called his mother! Thanks Sylvia for the recipe! I'll be using this forever.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Everyone loves this recipe. People beg me to make it...often. Only changes I made were to use butter in place of the shortening and I add 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice. I also use a cinnamon and sugar mix around the pan after I spray it with Pam. This is truly the BEST!

Stuffed and Wrapped Chicken Breast

It was okay. I'm going to pound out some round steak and try it with that. We just thought the chicken ended up kind of bland, but we loved the filling.

Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

This is great! My great aunt had a wonderful chocolate frosting that I loved and it was not sickenly sweet, like most are. This recipe is the closest I've found to hers yet. Loved it loved it! I used milk because I didn't have evaporated milk or half & half on hand. No problems and the kids loved it too.

Crispy Coffee Cookies

I doctored this one up because I'm not a big coffee fan. I added 3/4 cup of cocoa and lessened the flour to 2 cups only. Yum Yum. I wish I had a big cappuccino to go with them right now! These bake up so pretty too. Too bad they're going to the school for the teachers!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

These were awesome!! I couldn't find the time to bake them, so they ended up refrigerated for 2 days, but they still baked up wonderfully. Everyone loves them!! Also, I did do 1/2 butter, 1/2 shortening as suggested and took them out at exactly 8 minutes. These are perfect cookies.
