This is the best apple cake...ever! I took this to a brunch for seniors at our church and everyone loved it...especially the seniors! They all asked for the recipe. No changes, just drizzled it lightly with a glaze. Making it again for one of our desserts for Thanksgiving.

I boiled my ribs for about 20 minutes, threw them in the crock pot on low with about half the BBQ sauce for about 5 hours. Then I took them out and put them on a baking sheet, brushed them with the remaining BBQ sauce and baked about 15 minutes then I flipped them and brushed the other side and baked 15 more minutes. These were the PERFECT ribs and it was the BBQ sauce that made them that way! My husband (who rarely compliments a meal) couldn't stop raving about these ribs. He even called his mother! Thanks Sylvia for the recipe! I'll be using this forever.

Everyone loves this recipe. People beg me to make it...often. Only changes I made were to use butter in place of the shortening and I add 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice. I also use a cinnamon and sugar mix around the pan after I spray it with Pam. This is truly the BEST!
