I'm married for almost 24 years and have 2 children. My daughter is 21 and lives in the City. She comes home on Sundays for dinner and my 18 year old son still helps empty the fridge and pantry at home. My husband enjoys my cooking. If something doesn't turn out quite right he just says something like " Hmmm don't need to make a recipe card up for that one" LOL
My favorite things to cook
I like to make loads of things and don't really have a favorite. I hesitate to classify myself as EXPERT but according to these specs I guess I am. Normally I would say I'm an ok cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to paint Christmas cookies and colour Easter eggs.
My cooking triumphs
I've baked some pretty fab tortes that look too good to eat. And that amazes me when they look that good.
Also, Beef Wellington once turned out just right for guests.
My cooking tragedies
I once cooked a Wild Duck for hours and hours and it just didn't taste right. The Sour Cherry glaze turned out excellent...it was great on pancakes! LOL
