About this Cook
I am very respectful with strong family values, i have 5 WONDERFUL children who love getting in the kitchen with mom. I am strong minded and level headed and love cooking with passion. Drink-wise, i love my coffee, as i do make the best coffe i've ever had.
My favorite things to cook
Wow! just about everything, and i love learning new recipes everyday. I try to cook on a budget. But then again the best things usually are the simple things. But i love so many different styles of cooking i can't just name a few. I like deep fried foods, deep fried vege's are a good sub for fries, and i like stir fries and asian food alot, rib-eyes are my favorite steak. And iI firmly believe each variety of poptato serves a different purpose,ie, yukon gold for mashed potatoes, red potatoes for roasting, you get the idea. basically i just love to cook and expierment with new recipes and make them my own.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Would have to be Christmas....Every year we bake lots of sweets like cookies, fudge, pies, cakes, you name it. And then we all get together and share our dishes. Also thanksgiving of course, the one day a year i make my famous turkey and extra sweet honey glazed ham.
My cooking triumphs
Well, i would have to say my lasagna and my baked spaghetti are out of this world. And also my chicken-fried pork chops. And a few more that i am very proud of. And also my seasoning methods are outstanding(i think). And my ability to take a simple, classic recipe and make it my very own with my special touches.
My cooking tragedies
Well, i can honestly say I haven't had many of them. Not to toot my own horn or anything. I just have a natural gift for cooking. It's been a passion of mine since about age 5.

Best Beef and Broccoli
well, it is a good recipe idea if you tweek it a bit, but it is not an asian dish in the least. also, i used sliced rib eye, as it is a very tender cut of beef and is sure to be tender.
