44 Year old firefighter who is married to a wonderful cook/baker in her own right. I enjoy searching for new recipes and sharing them with friends and family. I am a self taught cook and enjoy searching out new recipes and ideas. I am looking to try to raise the bar alittle more every day. Anything on the grill, and any new recipes from the site to test-drive on my family and the guys at the firehouse. I guess my favorite is summer outdoor BBQ's & annual Christmas open house. I guess the best triumphs would have to be our summer cookouts and parties and Christmas open house with FOOD EVERYWHERE and the smiles of everyone enjoying the tastes. Inviting my in-laws over for a beercan chicken dinner and while taking one of the chickens off and placing it in a pan, went to grab the other and the thermometer wire got hooked on the grill and the chicken fell right to the ground! Well, the birds ate good that night anyway!
