2-Step Skillet Chicken Broccoli Divan

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
Excellent & easy. I added onions to mine and stir fried them with the broccoli at the same time as the chicken. I left out the cheese topping entirely, just seasoned the dish with salt & pepper. Could be served over rice too. Yum!

Teriyaki Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
My company and I found these burgers exceptional. I doubled the meat so I doubled the terriyaki sauce but I didn't double the fried onions. I put about a tablespoon of minced garlic in the mix and a splash of olive oil (to keep the burgers together on the grill). I served these with avocado, which along with the chedder cheese, was a huge hit. These were very juicy burgers and did not need condiments. Will definitely make these again!!

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

Delicous recipe. I only marinated mine for three hours but it was still very flavorful. Like another reviewer, I used the marinade as a gravy for the pork by boiling it with 2 tablespoons of corn startch and a cup or so of chicken broth.

Easy Caramelized Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
This recipe ROCKS. My guests loved it. I only had half of an onion on hand so I made some modifications. I added a tablespoon of minced garlic to the oil before the browning process. I also added 1 beef bullion cube to my 1 cup of water and about a teaspoon or so of cornstarch. I skipped the second addition of salt & pepper as I tasted my sauce right before that and it already had excellent flavor. I also left the cover off after about 20 mins and maintained a good amount of what turned out to be a gravy. Served this with mashed potatoes--EXCELLENT!!

BBQ NY Strip

This was an AWESOME recipe! My husband and I really enjoyed this. I doubled the basil and Italian seasoning by accident but it turned out wonderful--I'll continue to double those in the future. This recipe produced a marinade that really had an intense flavor. Many marinades don't have enough flavor for me so I end up adding A1. This recipe had the PERFECT amount of punch and I found it exceptional! I served the steak with grilled onions, sauteed in balsamic vinegar and a touch of olive oil.

Cabbage Beef Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
This was an excellent dish. I made a few modifications. The first was adding a teaspoon of minced garlic while browning the meat. In the slow cooker, I used three beef bullion cubes and one can of beef broth; did not add any water, only used one can of kidney beans (not drained), a 28oz can of diced tomatoes, and two stalks of chopped celery. I used nearly an entire cabbage head. I served this with garlic bread. Husband loved this dish!

Thai Chicken with Basil Stir Fry

Great dish, very flavorful. I skipped the mushrooms (husband doesn't care for them) and the dish still felt very complete. Will make this again.

Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
I dreged my pork first in flour, salt and pepper before dipping in the egg. Helped keep it moist. My oven tends to cook faster than normal, but the cooking time on this recipe still might be a few mins long. Suggest keeping a watch on your meal with a meat thermometer.

Butterscotch Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
I made this for a holiday event and it was the hit of the party. I brought the leftovers to a party the next day and re-heated it in the oven. All guests raved about it and thought it was the best bread pudding they'd ever had. I served whipped cream with it--something the dish would be "missing" without it.

Layered Chicken and Black Bean Enchilada Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2009
Excellent! I loved this dish. I only used sour cream for the top layer to cut down on the creaminess (personal preference). I could also see onions and rice being excellent additions to this recipe.
