I have been cooking all of my life. I enjoy it but I hate cleaning up. I like the sense of accomplishment it gives me when I finish and please everyone. One of my biggest accomplishments was cooking for my son's football team each week. What fun!! Gourmet pound cakes, any kind of dessert or cookie. I also love trying new recipes. Getting together with my mom, two sisters, neices and nephews before Christmas and baking all of our goodies to hand out as gifts. I had a little Gourmet Pound Cake Business out of my home. I could have really made it work but my family always comes first and it was too time consuming with working full time. When I was first married, my in-laws came over and I made boxed brownies and the middle was still runny and the sides were done. Of course my father-in-law never let me forget that.
