I'm in college so money for food is limited. When I can, I make some of my mom's and grandmother's recipes; great comfort foods! I love watching Food Network and then adapting their recipes to fit my lifestyle, budget, and local grocers' stock. I'm very experimental in the kitchen which means more flops than successes, fortunately for me I have great roommates and friends who love a home-cooked meal and will try anything I make! I love making good old southern dishes, soul food, Cajun dishes, Itallian, Mexican, and baking desserts is my favorite!!! Making Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and dad is the best! Banana Bread, a dish I created called "Ambo" because it was "almost gumbo", Stuffed chicken wrapped with bacon, I love making sauces to accompany entrees. 1000 characters max...may not be enough, lol!
