Buttery Soft Pretzels

I really liked this cheesecake,when I told people what I was making,it was like 'what? apple cheesecake? never heard of that' well,now,they have and it's a winner! I love it! I have just been told next time to make it with the apples folded in the cheese. Might be fun to try that way.

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Hmmm,I really don't know what to think,it's good mind you but...since there is really no instructions on the seasonings,I may have gone a tad almost over. I heard 'Too much italian seasoning but good!'

Chicken and Corn Chili

I just made this today and oh man! so good!,I didn't think there was enough juice in it either because I really wanted it for leftovers after church tommorow so I added some chicken broth and veggie broth,it really added some spark to it and the mexican style corn I added to it,had chipolte peppers in it so...at first I was like 'Okay' then in the middle of the bowl,the heat likes builds up on you. Wow! this is a great dish!

Apple Cake V

I just made this a little while ago! and it's great! Very tad on the sweet side,I didn't put the walnuts in but it's still great. The sweetness is STRONG but not over-powering,just almost,well,with so much regular sugar and brown sugar for the glaze,no wonder.

Spicy Chicken Breasts

These were okay,I too was scared of a whole tablespoon of cayenne pepper so I used a 1/4,I could have used more for a little more kick. I liked the paprika tho and just made a simple green salad to put it on. Good recipe to keep the kitchen from getting hot.

Easy Mexican Casserole

This was good,I did use taco seasoning,I think it added,I used some petite tomatoes with jalapenos in them. and three cups of crushed chips was enough,really more than enough,I had enough for the pan and to put on top. again,a good recipe.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Hum,I made these today and...well,belive it or not,the bars was better before I baked them! I did everything but the raisins in. Don't get me wrong,they are good,the family likes them but I don't think I'll make these again.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Goood chili! okay,I made some changes,I did beef but didn't have any italian sausage so I used ground pork. Only chili peppers I had was serrano and jalepeno so I used serrano,didn't put in hot sauce,didn't want to make it toooo spicy,had orange bell pepper instead and didn't put in any sugar,and it was still GOOD! You try it,you will like it.

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Bread

It was a great recipe. I don't know why it called for oatmeal in the batter,did not taste any inside,and it could have been less on top and I also didn't have chunky applesauce but used regular,came out fine. **UPDATE** I have made this again and I seem to have better reviews about it, I didn't cook it as long, I used a different type of applesauce,just had strawberry/banana kind, used it and didn't put oatmeal on the outside. It does seem to be better!

Marinated Teriyaki Chicken

This probaly would have been better but I just had soy sauce,not teriyaki but it was still good! I plan to go to the store soon to get some teriyaki and I'll make this again sometime soon.

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

I loved it! it was great,I did a few things different,I didn't have mushrooms,don't like them anyway so I used a green bell pepper and didn't have any honey for the sauce but who missed it? and I didn't have pineapple. You know,anything would work well with this recipe,chunks of onion,other bell peppers,most anything. I bet the next person who reviews on this will love it.

Cyndi's Shrimp Fajitas

Cyndi,this is a wonderful meal! I wasn't too sure about the zucchini in a fajitas but it was greaat! I used 2 cans of chipolte white corn I found in the grocery store today and I used diced red onions and it was delish! I have been told that I have to make it again. What does that tell you?

Fresh Tomato Salsa

I made this today with two tomatoes (all I had),a sweet red bell pepper,diced red onions, garlic vinegar and at first I really didn't know what to think of it but the salsa grew on you and I made it with shrimp fajitas from this site. Made a scrumptous meal!

Peach Smoothie

I also like this recipe but...yesterday when I made it the first time with fresh peaches,plain milk,added sugar,and used strawberry ice cream instead of vanilla,it was better. Today with the right ingriedents the recipe called for,it's well,just okay.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

This was and is a good recipe,you can imagine the thousands of possiblities for this recipe. pasta,sausage,corn,whatever. The family really enjoyed this one. I always love to try different zucchini recipe's and this one is a keeper.

Spicy Cucumber Soup

This soup,hmmm,I don't know what to say,it's eatable. I left out the curry (didn't have any) and thank goodness! I thought I would go insane with heat in my mouth! it's way to hot to really taste the cucumbers. My mother did NOT like it at all,she just poured hers out and I will not serve this to my son. Cucumber soup is meant to be a cool soup not this spicy hot.
