Breakfast Pizza

Good recipe but to let everyone know, you can do this in a 2 qt. casserole dish! I've done the same thing before except I added banana peppers. It's easier in a casserole dish,at least for me! anyway,good luck to anybody who makes it.

Well,I made this dish today,and it is good but I think it could be improved on. I think garlic powder can be used in place of chopped garlic.

Smothered Pork Chops

I made these for supper tonight,okay,I adjusted the recipe for 12 chops,the chops tasted fine but the gravy! My mother tasted it and said 'No,does not taste good at all so I just asked her to make some of her own. Much better. Sometimes the old things are better.

Tasty Green Beans

Like Lucy says: 'It's so tasty!' hehe! This was good and I did like the taste. I just used a different sauce other than soy because it is so salty but maybe next time I will try soy. Made it with a chicken pasta dish.

Paprika Chicken with Sour Cream Gravy

I made this for supper about oh,30 minutes ago, it was very good but I do have some things to say about it. To me,you need to double up on the spices, even with the paprika,ground red pepper,other spices, it was just like a piece of fried chicken,well,somewhat better but you still need to double up. The 'gravy' made of cream of chicken & sour cream was fantastic!

Cheeseburger Soup I

It's different,I'll say that. I made a few changes,1 cup of chicken broth and 3 cups of beef broth,it just seemed to me to need more liquid. and instead of celery,I used a half of yellow bell pepper,I made it for lunch and was going to freeze the rest because we are having deer steak for supper but I was told 'We'll have that also!' Okay.

Corn Fritters

These were easy to make,not to many are left but I will say that this makes more than a dozen,at least for me but advice! try making them small,the larger they are the longer they take to cook and you wind up burning the outside before you get inside. I forgot to sift so I imagine they would have been even better.

Beef or Chicken Enchiladas

Well,this is a good dish and to be honest,I toned it down because we have some elderly guests over so I only used 1 can of green chilies and oh, I used chicken,this is a okay dish and next time I'll use both cans of chilies. and oh,I followed the directions exactly on the sauce and I got a LOT of sauce left over.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

This was a good soup,I made a few changes,I didn't have any poultry seasoning so I used a chicken bouillon cube,didn't use celery,had a half yellow bell pepper,had 3 cups of homemade chicken broth then used can for the rest and I cut down on the salt! sounded way to much for me but it still tasted too salty and I also put in a capful of liquid smoke. Very good recipe.

Autumn Cheesecake

I really liked this cheesecake,when I told people what I was making,it was like 'what? apple cheesecake? never heard of that' well,now,they have and it's a winner! I love it! I have just been told next time to make it with the apples folded in the cheese. Might be fun to try that way.

Chicken and Corn Chili

I just made this today and oh man! so good!,I didn't think there was enough juice in it either because I really wanted it for leftovers after church tommorow so I added some chicken broth and veggie broth,it really added some spark to it and the mexican style corn I added to it,had chipolte peppers in it so...at first I was like 'Okay' then in the middle of the bowl,the heat likes builds up on you. Wow! this is a great dish!

Apple Cake V

I just made this a little while ago! and it's great! Very tad on the sweet side,I didn't put the walnuts in but it's still great. The sweetness is STRONG but not over-powering,just almost,well,with so much regular sugar and brown sugar for the glaze,no wonder.

Spicy Chicken Breasts

These were okay,I too was scared of a whole tablespoon of cayenne pepper so I used a 1/4,I could have used more for a little more kick. I liked the paprika tho and just made a simple green salad to put it on. Good recipe to keep the kitchen from getting hot.

Easy Mexican Casserole

This was good,I did use taco seasoning,I think it added,I used some petite tomatoes with jalapenos in them. and three cups of crushed chips was enough,really more than enough,I had enough for the pan and to put on top. again,a good recipe.
