Spicy Basil Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
This dish was delicious! We served it for 5 people and the only alteration we made was adding 2 teaspoons of fish sauce and about 4-5 teaspoons of soy sauce in place of the oyster sauce. WARNING: We used habanero peppers (3 red ones). They added a tasty kick to the dish, but my finger tips were on fire! For those that have never experienced a similiar feeling, I will liken it to dipping your fingers into a boiling volcano. We tried vinegar, rubbing alcohol, and the only relief came from soaking my finger tips in a tub of cold sour cream. Upon removing my fingers, the horrific fire-like sensation lasted until the sleep aid kicked in-seriously. All fingers were fine the next morning. I will NEVER make the mistake of touching those again!

Asparagus Wrapped in Crisp Prosciutto

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2008
I listened to previou reviews and cut each piece of prosciutto in half. I dipped the prosciutto in a mixture that contained olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped onions. I baked for 5 minutes, flipped them, baked for 3 minutes, shaved fresh parmesaen on top and baked another 2 minutes, for a total baking time of 10 minutes. DELICIOUS! I served as a side along with garlic potatoes and steak.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2008
I used 2 tsp. of vanilla, 1 cup of confectioner's sugar, walnuts, and Hershey's baking cocoa powder. I added the cocoa powder and about 1/4 finely chopped walnuts to the inside mixture. I coated the ball in a mixture of mini chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, and finely chopped walnuts (almost powdered). Received TONS of compliments! The Hershey's cocoa added a little flavor, but I initially used it to change the color of the inside of the ball into a light chocolate color.

Homemade Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
I used garlic flavored paste and crushed tomatoes. I also put 3 whole fresh basil leaves in the pan while the sauce simmerred and removed them after cooking. Cooked it for my Italian boyfriend and it passed the test!
