About this Cook
I just recently discovered I like to cook. I bake more than I cook, though, and apparently, I'm pretty good at it! I'm studying to be a professional guitarist. I love photography, creating digital art, and of course, music.
My favorite things to cook
Any and all types of cookies, biscuits...and lasagna takes forever but is very fun for me.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I live in the south- my family cooks like we're in the south. Everything is overdone. (not that this is a bad thing!)
My cooking triumphs
My first lasagna.
My cooking tragedies
In December 2006, during a random baking endeavor, I forgot an essential ingredient in gingerbread cookies and they (somehow) came out so hard that I seriously did try to bash them against cement and they WOULD. NOT. BREAK.

Cinnamon-Sugar Fan Biscuits
These were okay. They tasted a little bland to me except for the filling. I did switch things up a bit, but mainly in the way that I baked them(I rolled them up and baked them in the muffin tins). the only thing I changed in the actual recipe was that I added a bit more cinnamon to the filling, which tastes awesome. This isn't too bad of a recipe, with a few changes this would be awesome, but I'll probably try a different recipe next time.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies III
I brought these to Thanksgiving dinner this past year and my family kept going back for more! Very chocolatey, and the nuts added a nice crunch. I baked them a little longer than recommended because I like a nice, crisp cookie. Excellent recipe!

Pumpkin Spice Cookies
Meh. That's how I feel about these. They're OKAY, but as someone else said, they're nothing without the icing...Very bland- I don't really think of them as a cookie at all, they don't seem that way. I ended up eating these warmed up in the microwave for breakfast with a fork. They seem better as a breakfast pastry sort of thing...
