I like to cook, but almost only do it when there are others to share a meal with. My live-in boyfriend's work schedule make it so that we only eat together on weekends. This means that I'm mostly looking for two-person dinners and some quick and easy one-person meals too. Anything with beef! Healhy meals that don't induce guilt, panic or shame... And recipes with less than 2,393,040,530 ingredients. My dad always had to have meat in his meals... always. Now I'm the same way. My sister grew up to be a vegetarian. Go figure. I have no memorable triumphs, but our drunk friends are always very excited when I've made actual food for them at parties. I had many burned meals in the oven at our rental. It took us a few tries to figure out that the oven ran too hot and a few more tries to know just how hot that was. (75 degrees too hot)!
