Butternut Squash Bisque

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
Very good. I took the advice of others and I put some garlic in with the onions. I put a green apple and a bay leaf in with the carrots as well. I also roasted the butternut squach and so didn't add it until the carrots were done. I like some heat so I added a bit cayenne.

Mushroom Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Yum Yum yumm... I made just as written and must admit I had an urge to add a few more things, but it was great as is! The house smelled so good it made my stomach growl and I had to eat a bowl of cereal to calm it down. Extremely tasty and SO easy! I made it for company and they loved it! garlic mashed potato was my side dish after reading other reviews. I'll be making this again.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Yum Yum. I was craving fudge one night. I had never made it before so I got on here and found this recipe. Glad I did. I found it very easy and very tasty. My family came to visit the next day and ate all the rest of it. So good I made it for my Xmas goodies packages I sent out this year. Big hit.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Yum. I replaced of one can of kidney beans for white beans and cajun spice instead of chili powder. I also didn't have all spice. Still came out great. Second time I made it I added a can of corn and green chilis. Really yummy.. my husband wants me to enter it in the chili cook off at his work.. we'll see how it goes.

Delicious Beef Tongue Tacos

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Good recipe. My husband loved it. When I bought the tongue at the store he said, "that's just for you." But after he ate the tacos he said they were the best he's ever had. I'll tell him what they were made of when I'm done with this:) I made the tongue just as written, but just made a cold salsa like another reviewer adding lime and cilantro. I give it a 4 because although the meat was melt in your mouth good, it was missing a little something to me. Felt a lot like eating a roast beef taco. I might put a few more spices next time I cook the tongue. Yummy though

Awesome. I've never made peanut brittle before, but my husband said his mom loved it. And since I was making goodies for Xmas I gave it a shot. Very Easy, Very Tasty. I made it just as it said. Thank You. My mother in law loved it! And so did everyone at my husbands work. I smell a new Xmas tradition.
