I am newly re-married and have two children, a 20 year old and a 16 year old. I am also a Registered Nurse and absolutely love it! I like to try new recipes all the time. I enjoy cooking with the slow cooker and pressure cooker as much as the traditional cooking methods. I love cooking family favorites for everyone because of the joy it brings to them. Every year, my grandmother would make several kinds of cookies which became something everyone looked forward too. She would do this around the holidays. Now that she is gone, I carry on this tradition and make sure everyone has their own container of Grandmas cookies! I have tried new recipes that have become favorites with family and friends. Every meatloaf must be different because every time I cook a meatloaf, it never finishes cooking in the middle. I always have to zap it in the microwave at the end! Regardless, it still remains a favorite with my children.
