I like trying different foods and takeing chances with my cooking.
It doesn't always work out. I love to travel and living life to the fullest. My "other" and the kids love my cooking and are very happy that I like to cook.We have had a lifetime of eating memories already.
My favorite things to cook
Food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
None really, My sister is an amazing cook and has been hosting Christmas for the past several years, so that has become a bit of a tradition that the kids look forward to.The food is always outstanding.
My cooking triumphs
I like when I try something new on the kids, like my now "World Famous" Mushrooms because none of the kids would touch a mushroom and now it's their favorite dish. They go great with any red meat, and turn any BBQ into a greatly appreciated event. It takes a few hours to make them, but they are worth it. I love any new success at the table.
My cooking tragedies
when I met my wife what seems like over 100 years ago, one of my first dates was having her over for dinner. I spent all day shopping and preparing an amazing sea food dinner; only to find out upon her arrival she didn't like sea food. Out came the home made tomato sauce and I switched gears and went Italian. With a nice red Barolo that saved the night and a lesson well learned. Do some background checking before a surprise meal.
