I joined this site to help make my life a little more interesting and diverse in the food department. I'm tired of the same old meals and allrecipes.com has opened a door to a more interesting way to cook the same foods I've had my whole life. Pasta salads. I love to try out new combinations of flavorings and sauces. My family has their traditions with the holidays and it's pretty simple to duplicate .. crown pork, string beans, etc. My in-law family are all fabulous Polish cooks - I don't even try to cook like they did ... it never quite turns out how they remember. Usually, when I try out a new recipe, I'm pretty lucky and everyone loves it. Only because I'm trying something new and they've never had before! Too many early food tragedies to remember.
