Pretty good! I couldn't bear to leave all of the bacon grease in so I drained most of it and add chicken broth a little at a time as needed while cooking. Probably better with all of the bacon grease but still very good this way.

Basil Chicken and Pasta

I followed other reviewers and doubled the sauce and added broccoli. Delicious but definitely would not have been enough sauce if I hadn't doubled it.

Sugar Coated Pecans

Just delicious! Following other reviewers I used two egg whites, two teaspoons of water and one teaspoon of vanilla. I'm always looking for the quickest, easiest method so after adding the pecans to the egg whites I just dumped the sugar mixture into the bowl, mixed thoroughly and spread them on a baking sheet. They turned out perfect and no wasting zip lock bags.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

My husband loves the traditional Green Bean Casserole so was not happy that I was making this one but he LOVED this one so much more! Soooo yummy! I did still use the fried onions instead of the crackers but this is our Green Bean Casserole recipe from now on.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

I guess I'm in the minority here but I didn't love this cake. It wasn't very flavorful and for the first time ever I threw part of a cake away because no one ate it. For me it sounds better that it tastes.

Italian Sausage Soup

My husband said it was the best soup I ever made. We all loved it and will make it again very soon! I used three cans of beef broth and added a cup of ditalini pasta in the last ten minutes of cooking.

Dark Chocolate Crumb Bars

These were devoured. I accidentally poured all of the chocolate chips into the sweetened condensed milk. I was able to get some out in time and sprinkled those on top but it didn't matter anyway -- nobody cared because they were so good!

Lebanese Chicken and Potatoes

I thought this was too lemony but the rest of my family did not. I will still cut back on the lemon next time but still overall very good. I used boneless, skinless thighs and they did not turn out dry at all.

Brown Rice and Black Bean Casserole

I didn't think this was going to be as good as it was! We loved it! I took the advice of previous reviewers and substituted a can of Rotel tomatoes with green chilis for the can of green chili peppers and I doubled the rice and broth. Yummy healthy meal.

Grandpa's Classic Coney Sauce

I halved the recipe because we didn't need so much but it was very good. We all liked it and will make it again. I don't know if it tastes like a coney dog (never had one) but it tastes yummy none-the-less!
