Baking. Thats what we love. Cookies, muffins, cakes...and on and on. We just love to bake. My most infamous cooking tragedy involved the making of a black forest cake. My stepdad loves chocolate and cherries, hence the black forest cake. Everything was going wonderfully, I was getting ready to frost the top when...the layer of frosting and cherries burst out of the side of the cake. I tried to save it. Alas it was not to be saved. Oh, I cried, as far as I was concerened the cake was ruined. My stepdad came into the kitchen and tasted my disaster. He then proclaimed it chocolate covered cherry cake. He loved it. Next time, I will completely cool my cake layers before frosting.
