I am a stay at home mom with a beautiful little girl. I'm about to go back to school I absolutely love to cook lasagna and jambalaya for my family. Those are our top two favorites. Shrimp creole and maple glazed chicken are close runners-up. My family doesn't have very many cooking traditions. The closest we come to traditions is the tendency to bake a lot, mostly cookies. The first time I saw a jambalaya recipe, I thought it sounded delicious. I was so nervous about preparing it and how it would taste when I made my attempt. When I finally had it finished and my husband and daughter tried it, my husband was shocked at how good it was and demanded more. Now I have to make double batches!! I tried to make a chicken stir-fry once and it was just so horrible my dogs wouldn't even eat it. I haven't yet tried again lol.
