About this Cook
I am 31 and have been married for 4 years. I have a 10 year old daughter and 2 stepsons. I work 2 jobs and my daughter dances 4 nights a week. It's too expensive to eat out all the time, so I need quick and easy meals that are tasty and different from the norm.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook in the crock pot. It's so easy and takes the pressure off on those late nights. I'm a decent cook, but I don't like the time it takes to put a meal together. People always pick on me about my "lack of culinary talent", but I CAN cook as long as I have a recipe and the time.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I've been cooking with my mom since I was little. We didn't have alot of money, so we never ate out. My mom is an amazing cook and she taught me how to do most things, but my kids are pretty picky eaters and sometimes it's hard to find things to cook that everyone will eat.
My cooking triumphs
My crock pot brisket!!! It's awesome!
My cooking tragedies
My first meal with my husband. I made baked chicken breasts and over salted them so much that we both gagged! I was SO embarrassed!

Monkey Bread V
Almost as good as my Mom's...it wasn't as light and fluffy as I remember. But that is probably my fault. I was trying to cook Christmas dinner at the same time! :)
