I just love to cook. There are several areas of interest which are not catalogued here, such as confections etc. I love working with chocolate and have been asked to sell my fudge LOL :) Maybe someday when I can retire I will go to cooking school just for fun. Too many things to mention but I do enjoy making brown sugar meat loaf, white chili and am becoming more ambitious about baking (breads etc) My mother wasn't a great cook but there are some dishes, like swiss steak which she made that were outstanding. My grandmother, who cooked on a wood stove, was the best cook I ever knew...even now I am impressed with her. I made some passable cream puffs one time, and I made chili rellenos which would rival any cook's out there. I tried my hand at curry long ago but didn't understand until I failed that a little goes a long way LOL.
