Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

These were a huge success and much better than buying a mix at the store. I found the reviews very helpful that recommended all the liquid ingredients be at room temperature and to double sift the dry ingredients before mixing. Small note, a hand mixer is not necessary, just use a rubber spatula to mix and smush out the clumps.

Healthy Turkey Loaf

YUM! We really enjoyed this recipe. I did have to cook it a little over an hour for 1.25 lbs of turkey.

Creamy Buttercream Frosting

I had to add a LOT more sugar to this recipe. It was too buttery to spread on my cake. I ended up adding one bar of hot melted giradelli bittersweet chocolate and it came out great, but I felt like a mad scientist trying to get it to a spreadable consistency adding water, cocoa, sugar, and chocolate.

Lemon Pudding Cake I

I am rather new to baking, and I must have done something wrong. The pudding ended up on top and the bottom was really thick and pasty. I've never cooked with separated eggs. Maybe I didn't blend it long enough, or on a high enough speed. I'll try to look for recipes with exact timings for things like that until I learn a little more. I did substitute oranges for lemons because I messed up the first time and had to start over.
