Excellent and easy! I have made this several times now. It is my new go-to when I am in the mood for something "normal" and easy!

Balsamic-Glazed Salmon Fillets

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
I hate to put a negative post on here, but the galze smelled so awful while preparing it that we did not even try it on the salmon. Instead, I just squeezed some lemon on the fish and basted with olive oil and a little basil.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
I have not roasted a chicken so slowly before, and honestly, I am not sure it is necessary. Typically I roast at 350 for just 2.5 hours or so....this recipe did turn out well, but I think you can save some time and maybe energy by roasting it for a shorter time at a higher temp. Also, I recommend using a pre-made spice rub liek Mrs. Slyvia's chicken rub or Adobo chicken flavor with pepper. Just some suggestions! The recipe WAS good. Be careful because the birds put off a lot of juice if you use a corning baking dish.

Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
These are great; I recommend making them a little bigger than suggested and also don't bake them quite as long. Take them out before you think they are done so they stay chewy for a few days (unless you prefer crispier cookies, of course).

Meatball Sandwich

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
These meatballs are great! I have never baked meatballs before, and I am not sure if it is necessary, or if you could just cook them stovetop. I'll try that next time. You definately need to cook them more than 5 minutes though to cook them through! Anyway, it was a great recipe; the provolone is nice and melty. I used the leftover meatballs for spaghetti and meatballs.

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
I gave this four stars because it tastes great and is so easy! Like many other users, I skipped the milk. This makes it a more economical recipe and it still tastes great. Here is how I prepare it: skip the milk per comments and reviews- this is a great recipe. I heat up a tiny bit of EVOO and minced garlic- about one clove. Then I put the chops in, bone in. I pepper the side that is not cooking. I flip after five minutes and do not pepper the other side. After a few minutes I add two handfuls of froxen green beans and let that sit a minute. Then I add a can of cream of mushroom soup and about a 1/4 can of water, and cook for a few minutes. Then I scrape it all off into a square glass baking dish and cover and cook as directed.
