About this Cook

I have been married for 27 years and am the mother of two boys (ages 24 and 12) and two girls (ages 23 and 18). I work at a local community center and routinely cook for the kids there and teach cooking classes on a weekly basis.

My favorite things to cook

I enjoy being able to make "something" from "nothing". I have learned to pull what I have on hand in the pantry and put it together into something enjoyable and satisfying.

Mock Apple Pie

This is extremely easy to make and amazingly does taste like apple pie. This is currently my favorite pie and I am going to make it to take to grandpa's house for Thanksgiving.
