About this Cook
I have been cooking for over 50 years and have become a very good cook, or so I'm told. At the age of 70, I believe I have most definitively perfected my craft. I am always on the lookout for anything new, different and tasty. Most of my cooking consists of creating meals that consist of a variety of meats and fresh vegetables that are prepared to be tasty and healthy. In short, I LOVE to cook!
My favorite things to cook
Pot roast, lamp chops, pork chops/steak,chicken, seafood and fish. New and different salads.Pasta, rice and potatoes. My all time favorites are shrimp alfredo,sweet and sour shrimp, harvard beets,and brussels sprouts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I really don't have any. I just cook what sounds good on any given occasion.

Homemade bread,cinnamon rolls and homemade bread stuffed with meat.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting
Great taste as a dip perhaps, but as a fr osting, I never got it to form stiff peaks and the more I beat it, it seemed to separate. I even put in in my food processor to no avail, just got creamy, which made me think it would make a great fruit dip. Taste was yummy, but not something I could frost my cake. Darn! Don't know what else I could have done. Was really disappointed as I really thought this would be perfect on my son's sheet cake.

Garlic Bread Fantastique
This is the best garlic butter spread I've ever eaten. It especially goes well with my homemade crusty bread.
