I come from a traditional Punjabi family, so we cook mainly North Indian food at home. I am now leaning towards Western food.

Snowballs II
These were pretty good. I used almonds in place of pecans in one batch, and orange peel in another batch. The orange peel cookies were more popular. The cookies looked very pretty after being rolled in the confectioners sugar, but they were much too sweet, in my opinion. Overall a good recipe.

Apple Crisp II
This was great! The oats add a nice crumbly texture to the crust. I prefer to sprinkle the crust on top, and not pack it down. I used red delicious, so I cut the sugar down to 1/4 cup and tossed the apples with the mixture. I also added a dash of cinnamon and vanilla to the crust.
