Delicate Lemon Pound Cake
I made this using Sierra Mist. The cake has a very nice texture, but the flavor is bland. Next time I will either increase the lemon extract or add fresh lemon juice. It could also use about 1/2 teaspoon of salt. I drizzled a lemon glaze over cake to compensate for the bland flavor.

Pecan Pie V
Wow! This is hands down the best pecan pie I have ever tasted. It is so much better than those made with Karo syrup; you can really taste the butter. To make it really awesome, try to use fresh new-crop pecans and use the regular (not deep dish) pie crust. My pie was not the most visually appealing, but it was DELICIOUS!
