Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Yummy and so moist! Instead of buying pumpkin puree, I pureed some sweet potatoes which I already had on hand. I will definitely make again.

Grilled Salmon I

I was a little skeptical at first at how I all the flavors would blend. But I enjoyed it very much. It was the first time I made salmon without an additional sauce. Loved it!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

I followed the suggestions of several people and doubled the sauce. I also boiled the chicken and veggies in chicken broth and mixed the chicken mixture with the sauce before pouring it in the shell. I froze the extra filling and will use it with biscuits.

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

Simple and delicious! I don't have a grill, so I used a broiler pan in the oven. It took just a minute or two more on each side. I left out the garlic powder as I used 4 LARGE cloves of fresh garlic. After the 3 minutes, I brushed off most of the garlic and the flavor was still plentiful. I don't eat much red meat, but I will use this again. Thanks!

Washabinaros Chili

I loved the unique flavor of this chili. But I'm the only one in my family who could stand the 'heat'. Next time I will leave out some or all of the chiles.

Sweet and Sour Spareribs

I cooked it for the 1 & 1/2 hours with a foil tent to keep them moist. The sweet & sour sauce turned out too thick, so I added the juice from a 20 oz can of pineapple chunks. I also added the chunks to the pan for the last 30 minutes of baking time. Next time, I'll make extra sauce to add before putting it in the oven so they absorb more of the flavor.
