About this Cook
I have always loved to cook, always looking at new things to make. Alot of trial and error recipes.......that's what family and friends are for.
My favorite things to cook
Anything easy that looks like I spent a long time in the kitchen making.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Breakfast....lots of french toast, Holiday cheesecakes, greek pasta salad, dirt cake.....oh the memories!
My cooking triumphs
ThanksGiving of 2008 (dinner for 11 people) I made the whole meal by myself started cooking and baking 3 days in advanced......couldn't wipe the smile off my face from hearing all the stuffed people. LEFT OVERS!!!!!!! Every one went home with them. It was like looking at a buffet line :)
My cooking tragedies
First pie I ever made for my husband from scratch with a lattuce top overflowed and caught fire in the oven. Pie was saved......and so was the marriage.....just kidding...he loved it

Rhubarb Bread I
This was more like a rhubarb coffee cake. My husband is a cook and he said that this was the best he has ever had. I doubled the topping and it just went throughout the entire loaf giving it a coffee cake texture and taste......made it for myself.......we devoured it....made it for work....same thing.

Alfredo Mostaccioli
I would make this again. It had wonderful taste. Although, I thought it needed more sauce, I used whole wheat penne noodles...gave it a different taste also. I agree with some of the others, you have to cook it a bit longer or it is a runny mixture......although I must say, it was veryyyyy good
