I am prior Military, Marine Corps to be exact. My hubby is currently deployed and i want to wow him with my cooking skills when he gets back. im good at preparing meals, but i havent had much experience making things from scratch. I make some killer encheladas!!! i love marinating a juicy steak in my red wine marinade and throwing it on the grill. my homemade mashed potatoes arent half bad too. i love itilian food, but all i can make is spaghetti! i cant say that we really have any. my sister is a great cook and i get alot of ideas from her. we have a homemade spaghetti sauce that was passed down from her grandmother, so i guess that counts. ;) my chicken encheladas! i got the recipe from my sister. trying to broil a steak..... not such a good idea! oh and garlic bread. i never know what the outcome of that is going to be!
