My favorite things to cook
spaghatti sauce, homemade soup, pepper steak...and pies
but don't make the crusts (thank goodness for Pet Ritz ! )
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving and Christmas...Turkey or pork roast, potato salad,
deviled eggs,asparagus casserole, green beans, fried sweet potatoes
and sweet potato pie...and a cake if I am able.
My cooking triumphs
when I learned to cook chicken and dumplings , and potato salad
like my mother.
My cooking tragedies
1st time I tried to make gravy - I soaked up ALL the grease with flour...
and never did add enough water/milk to get it thin enough to eat ..LOL
and I just cannot make a biscuit that can be eaten -- we throw them at stray dogs !!! LOL
