My favorite things to cook
Bread, pies, cookies.
My cooking triumphs
My biscuits are considered really good by my family. I much prefer to make scratch biscuits than to up 'whampum' can biscuits. Several years ago, I baked and decorated the three tier cake for my parents anniversary party.

Very Berry Muffins
I have been looking for a whole wheat blueberry muffin with oatmeal. The oatmeal adds a whole new dimension to the healthfulness of this recipe. Like many others here, I would add cinnamon, too. Thanks!

Meringue II
This is the first meringue recipe I have used that really looked good and tasted better than it looked. I used four egg whites and the recipe made enough meringue to cover two chocolate pies. My eight year old granddaughter loves this, too. LPogue
