I've just gotten a divorce after 29 years. Best thing he ever did for me.
I have 2 grandsons that I have started teaching them how to cook. They enjoy being in the kitchen as much as I do. My mom taught me to cook when I was about 9 years old. I still remember the first thing I ever cooked, it was Porcupine Meatballs in a tomato sauce. I was walking on air.
My favorite things to cook
Aisan food has to be my favorite thing to cook. Next would be Southern Food, I love making a big pot of Gumbo and having my family over for dinner.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I think my favorite thing to cook would have to be fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans.
Before I moved back to Arkansas I would visit and I always had to make this for dinner.
My cooking triumphs
2007 Thanksgiving I started making Pumpkin Cheesecakes. My son took one to work with him. After that I made so many I was dreaming about them.
My cooking tragedies
Fudge, I cannot make it and I guess that is a good thing, because I would eat all of it.
