I am a 30 year old mother of one. Married to a wonderful man who brings me happiness. I love to rollerblade and am a whiz in the kitchen. I also love to read, sew and am a video game geek, amongst enjoying other nerdy hobbies. I am all about Italian food and breakfast foods. I also love making desserts. Boxed foods are convenient, but I would rather be making things from scratch, even pasta I prefer it when I've made the noodles myself. My family is famous for our macaroni and cheese cassarole, lasagna, and my grandma's Mississippi mud pie. I have been making baklava since I was in 7th grade and though I read cook books I don't think I have followed a recipe 100% since I was 8. I get a general idea then add my own little twist to everything I make. I once turned on the burner under some hot oil and went to the bathroom really quick. In my infinite wisdom I had left the cover on the pan, which began to smoke, so in a brilliant manuver I removed the pan from the heat and removed the lid. Needless to say, there was a large grease fire which ended in a lot of cleaning and a fire extinguisher lol
