I am the proud wife of Mohamed Khattab, a former US Marine and now working with the US Government and overseas in Iraq, I stay very busy with our 5 beautiful children. I love so much to cook and bake and keep traditional ways of doing things in the family. life was simpler then and so crazy now so I have always been the kind of wife and mother that wants to make all things from scratch and homemade since we live in a society of fast food and fast pace. These are my goals however with everyones soccer,football,baseball, volleyball practices and tae kwon do and still make time for myself and God I sometimes need a quick great fabulous recipe on those crazy days. I tell my husband all the time his job in the war in iraq is much easier than mine. I am continually baking for him and all the marines over there and sending them great stuff as much as I can. We miss him terribley! My husband is Egyptian and we have travelled there many times and I very much love the middle eastern and mediterr I love to cook anything but I really love to bake especially all the millions of holiday yummy recipes out there. I am very excitied to get all the recipes from around the world.
