I am a 26 year old female, who just moved to Dayton OH, and loving every min of it! I have always had a thing for baking, buti wasn't always so good at cooking main dishes until my very best friend showed me the ropes!! From there on after it was down hill for me!! I love to bake!! Pretty much anything you can think of. Pies, cookies, cakes,and i just found out that i have a an interest in pie crust. My favorite traditions has to be getting together with mu best friend and we make all of our holiday cookies together. We talk about it all year long and what new recipes we can try! Just this year i have made a pie that i seen on allrecipes.com, but i was more interested in the crust. It was a pumpkin pie that had leaves made out of the crust all around it, and i thought to myself, yes that is it, that is what im going to do, and it turned out GREAT!! When i was younger and had no idea what the heck i was doing. I was at my brothers house and i was making deep fryed french fries, and when i got done i put the hot oil back in the plastic bottle walked away, and when i came back into the kitchen the bottle was melted, so i started to freak out! I just grabbed the bottle and put it in the frezzer. When i checked on it hours later it was done melting, so put back in the shelf as far back as it would go, to hide it. Needless to say my sister-in-law found it days later and was like Connie what did you do? While she was laughing! that story still brings a smile to everyones face everytime i tell it!!
