wow. this makes an excellent pie. i added a pinch of cinnamon and 1/2 cup of oatmeal to the topping. other than this, i followed the recipe exactly. the strawberries had just a hint of tart to them, the topping balanced it well. the way the berries cooked made an awesome filling. i will be making this again for guests at our cookout this weekend. yum!

i have made this several times and have not been disappointed yet. my family loves it. i drizzle some of the sesame oil on it when i first put it in. also, i rub a mix of ginger, garlic powder, salt and pepper under the skin. great recipe.

very easy recipe. i had to throw something together with only a few hours notice and this really did the trick. i used a 6 lb chicken, but did not modify the amounts of the seasoning - i had still had ample seasoning. i seasoned under the skin. the only real modification i made was i also rubbed butter over the skin and put about a tablespoon or two in the cavity of the chicken. it smelled so good while it was roasting and it was so moist. my family loved it. so simple - thanks!
