I followed the ingredients exactly except I put it into my crock pot for 10 hours on low. It was EXCELLENT. All my family gave it rave reviews. So moist and great flavor. You need to try this on a roll with some slaw on top. YUM!

I followed the recipe exactly as written with the exception of leaving out the nuts (hubby doesn't like them). It is an excellent basic recipe and is moist and delicious. You could use this as a jumping off board for further alterations, but as a carrot cake lover I like it just as it was intended to be.
