Mom's Pumpkin Pie

I made the pie exactly as written. It was very good, and the only reason I'm not giving it a 5 is because it wasn't the absolute BEST pumpkin pie I've ever had - but it was good and I would recommend it. :O)

Eggnog Cookies I

Awesome tasting cookies! I'd say definitely reduce the time and keep an eye on them, unless you make them larger (which I did). Instead of 1 tsp of vanilla, I did 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp rum extract. These cookies are easily adjustable to your own tastes. Use less/more nutmeg, less/more eggnog (might have to add more flour in that case), less/more extract. :D

Quick and Easy Brownies

These were super easy to make with ingredients that are usually on hand and they tasted pretty yummy. The oatmeal is a bit crumbly and falls apart easily, but it's still worth it. Also, they are a bit on the sweet side.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies II

Omigosh, so good! This is the third white chocolate macadamia nut cookie recipe I've tried...and, I'm keeping this one! These cookies are amazing. I take mine out a minute or two earlier so they're a bit more chewy. Sooo good, that's all I can say.

Cinnamon Rolls I

I'm only giving this recipe 4 stars instead of 5 since I did minor changes to it and didn't follow it EXACTLY. I basically nearly doubled the filling so there was more flavor and gooeyness. Also, I didn't let them sit in the fridge over night either. Instead, after they were assembled, I covered them with a towel and let them rise for 45 mins, then baked em. They came out twice the size and were very good. I also made a simple icing sugar frosting of 1 cup icing sugar, 2-3 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla, mix, and then spoon over the buns when they're still hot so it melts. Mmm...

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

YUMMO. The cookies are perfect. I didn't have the full amount of chocolate chips, so I ended up adding some butterscotch ones as well. But that was the only change I made, these are fantastic! I did make smaller cookies though, and therefore shortened the cooking time. Thanks!

Classic Bran Muffins

This recipe is really very good AS IS, but I didn't have any buttermilk, so the only substitution I made was using 1 cup skim milk with 1 tbsp of lemon in place of the buttermilk. I made them in mini muffin tins, shortened the cooking time, and they were so good! For my sweet tooth, I added some cream cheese icing on top! Next time, I'm going to add some dried cranberries and cinnamon to the batter.

Cheddar Puff Biscuits

I'll rate this recipe 2 stars since they weren't very good (my boyfriend says he'll eat them, but only with lots of butter on them). I did add 1 tsp baking soda to help them rise, which they did a little. I doubled the recipe, and therefore doubled all of the ingredients EXCEPT for the egg since other reviewers said they were too "eggy". However, I found that mine were still way too "eggy" tasting. It was kind of like eating yucky cream puffs, or yorkshire pudding. :O(

Sugar Cookies

The cookies tasted yummy. However, the dough was very crumbly and dry, as other reviewers noted...not a good cookie for rolling and making shapes.
